I am not one to request prayer for myself usually.....but...

I have been having problems lately with migrains and blurry eyes............About 4 weeks ago the doctor said I had pink eye and gave me eye drops.....I took them and seemed to be ok then Friday my eye swelled up and turned red.......I went back to the doc. She said possibly pink eye again but if it did not get better by today to go back..........but she said I could go back to work today (Wednesday)

So yesterday I went in to the doctor to get a paper saying I was not contagious so I could go back to work....because my job would not let me go back without the note because my eye is still swollen and red.........and after looking at my eye she would not write it ..............so I went home and was supposed to go back today at 9:40...........

well she called me at 2 and told me after looking at my eye and thinking about it she made me an appointment with the specialist and to get over to the specialist ASAP so I did......

Well, I have an corneal eye ulcer in the emergency stages..........I found out...........LOL Can you imagine it is not pink eye at all and they have had me taking drops for pink eye.......

So now I have to see the specialist everyday the rest of the week, to have the pressure in my eye tested and to check if the ulcer is closing up........because the pressure in my eye is very high and take special drops every two hours........she said they can hopefully get the ulcer healed before it reaches the center of my cornea...........and I have to see a cornea specialist today at 11 to determine how deep the ulcer is............

So at least i know what it is now and hopefully can get it healed up..............that answers the question of the headaches I have been having and the blurred vision.............so it is good to know.................I am so thankful that it was caught now instead of later when it was too late............

I am so sorry to hear of all the problems. Praying the ulcer will be stopped in it's tracks and will heal quickly. I'm totally deaf in one ear and half deaf in the other but, I've always said I'd much rather be deaf than blind.

Laurel, hope you are doing better today. I put your name on our church's prayer list. Take care and God bless.
